We founded the first sleep lab in Cobb County in 1990, only the second in Georgia. We were also the first practice in the community to participate in national pharmaceutical studies and rank among the top institutions in enrollment for various novel treatment trials.

We are proud of the community we serve and are actively involved in the Cobb Clinic, providing service to the uninsured and underinsured. The discipline of pulmonary medicine encompasses the evaluation and management of a wide variety of common clinical symptoms, such as chronic cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath. We also manage many chronic health conditions, including asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, infectious lung diseases (e.g. tuberculosis), and lung cancers as well as rarer disorders, such as interstitial lung diseases (e.g. sarcoidosis and pulmonary fibrosis), pulmonary hypertension, and pleural diseases (conditions involving the lining of the lung). Diagnostic services performed or arranged through our offices include chest radiography, CT scanning, complete pulmonary function and exercise testing, bronchoscopy, pleural biopsy, and thoracentesis. All of our physicians are boarded or board-eligible in pulmonary medicine and provide the full spectrum of care.
